Welcome to the new website for First Presbyterian Church in North Port, Florida.  In the Name of God the Father, in the Name of Jesus Christ and in the Name of the Holy Spirit, Greetings!   We are a small, friendly, gracious, whole-heartedly reformed and dedicated to God's Word and Grace church, located about 70 miles south of Tampa in North Port.  We are a mixed group with members from every tribe, tongue, kindred and nation.  Well, maybe not EVERY but many!  We are working on every. 

We are a member of the Presbyterian Church in America.  We count the Bible as the inspired, inerrant and infallible Word of God.  It is our only rule for faith and practice.  We unashamedly subscribe to the system of doctrine taught in the Westminster Confession of Faith and the Larger and Shorter Catechisms.  Yet, subscribing to these by no means means that we count these to be authorities close to Scripture, they are not!  We are Christians first before Presbyterian and welcome communication and fellowship from all who love our Lord, whatever secondary label you may or may not wear.  God bless you visit to our site!
